![]() ![]() ![]() The above is handled by WTRL and nothing to worry about though in most cases, riders will find themselves up against racers of similar ability within their Group. It works in reverse too: Team Racer #3 signs off - everyone below shifts up a group and now Team Racer #5 is in Group 1. Then Team Racer #5 joins - they become the Group 2 racer for the team and Team Racer #8 joins Group 3 and so on. Team member #3 is ranked higher than #8 and #3 takes over the Group 1 spot and #8 is allocated to Group 2. An hour later, Team Racer #3 hits the RacePass. They automatically become the Group 1 racer. ![]() Lets say Team Rank #8 is the first to hit the RacePass. Each group will contain 1 rider from each team and it is in this group that each rider will battle for SBPs.(example: team members 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 11 sign up, they become the team's representatives in Groups 1,2,3,4,5,6 respectively for the race. As racers signup for each points race, this numerical order will be converted to 1 to 6.Every member of a team will receive a number 1 to 12 from WTRL (based on a unique ranking system). You'll need your wits about you to figure out who your rivals are to beat them. The idea is to place several races within a race and will create plenty of points battles amongst groups of riders. Segment Battle Points (SBP) Starting in Round 3 of the 20022/23 season, all riders will score Segment Battle Points.
